Drive Information:

Plan:
We will start the drive from Shuwaib entry point around 2.30PM and drive towards the Iftar Bowl to witness one of the biggest Off Roaders gatherings in UAE. The history of this event goes way back to 1991 when a group of Off Roaders found this vast bowl shaped dune. This discovery later became the foundation of a cherished tradition. They shared their Iftar meal together in this natural bowl. Since then, this dune is famously known as the “Iftar Bowl,” This is the 4th time we attend this event as Ceylon Off Roaders UAE club and this is a great opportunity to display our strength and our growth as an Off Roading Club in UAE.

Drive is open to all levels, and depending on the participation, there will be multiple convoys. After the Iftar we will finish the drive from Rafadah village exit.  More details will be given during the drive briefing

Preparation:

• ⁠Please bring plenty of water or electrolyte to stay hydrated at all times, snack to enjoy

During breaks.

• Ensure your 4x4 vehicle is equipped with front and rear recovery points.

• Thoroughly check your vehicle, especially coolant and oil levels.

• Fill up your tank before reaching the deflation point.

• Bring a walkie-talkie/radio and safety flag.

• Wear seatbelts at all times.

• Bring basic off -road equipment like a tire deflator, pressure gauge, recovery rope, etc.

• Follow the lead car and maintain convoy positions.
