Drive Plan:

Welcome to another chapter of CO winter expedition drive series. This will be a challenging drive and you have to prepare your car for the journey also be prepared mentally and physically for the task and any challenge come up during the drive. Drive will be 200km plus deep in the desert with tall dunes sharp drops and massive bowls far from civilization. In expedition drives, the route will favor the safety of the drive and is more focused on developing the drivers' endurance skills, rather than on adrenaline and thrills, as the keys to true overland drives are consistency, mental focus, patience, and the choice of the best, cleanest routes. The nature of the terrain is complex enough that we'll have to overcome both technical terrain, as well as driving through tall dunes and deep bowls. All skills will be tested. The experience gain from this drive will elevate you to the next level as an off roader also experience the pristine deserts in UAE.

We will meet at Al Dhafra and enter the desert at Tropic of cancer crossing and head towards E15 highway. After crossing the highway we will make our overnight camping and next day continue the journey towards Arada and make our exit.

Preparing your car.

·        Please check the car for any leaks, unusual sound, weak belts, fault indications and get it fixed before the drive

·        Check oil level and coolants

·         Check the condition of your spare tire, main tires and tools, jack required for a tire change and keep them in good condition.

·        Bring some extra engine oils and coolant.

·        Check all your recovery gears and keep them in good condition

·        Properly tie down all the loose items in your vehicle

Food and beverage arrangement

·        Breakfast: We can get the breakfast from the meeting point

·        Lunch: Pack something from home or buy on the way

·        Dinner: Bring something we can prepare easily

·        Next day breakfast: Bring something we can prepare easily

·        Two packs of water for every individual.

Other necessary items

·        Phone chargers

·        Arrangement to charge your radio or extra fully charged radio

·        Small first aid kit

Preparation:

• ⁠Please bring plenty of water or electrolyte to stay hydrated at all times, snack to enjoy

During breaks.

• Ensure your 4x4 vehicle is equipped with front and rear recovery points.

• Thoroughly check your vehicle, especially coolant and oil levels.

• Fill up your tank before reaching the deflation point.

• Bring a walkie-talkie/radio and safety flag.

• Wear seatbelts at all times.

• Bring basic off -road equipment like a tire deflator, pressure gauge, recovery rope, etc.

• Follow the lead car and maintain convoy positions.
